RateTheBusiness.com: Advertising
The main pages and ratings pages of this website will be kept free of ads, but space will be provided on designated pages for local businesses who would like to advertise their services to the RateTheBusiness.com audience.
Whether businesses choose to advertise on these pages will be completely independent of the ratings that these same businesses might receive. We will not change rating numbers in any way because of advertising arrangements.
While these pages will provide ratings on businesses that are listed, they will not provide any general information about those businesses are or what their products are, other than the category that they are listed in. Businesses may purchase add space in order to present this information.
As with most advertising mediums, rates for advertising will eventually be tied to the volume of persons who view the site, but since the site is brand new, such numbers are not yet known. As such the following introductory rates are offered for ad space on the add pages:
- Business Card size (3.5" wide x 2" high) ads for $5.00 a month.
- One Quarter Page (7.5" wide x 2" high) ads for $10.00 a month.
- One Half Page (7.5" wide x 4.5" high) ads for $20.00 a month.
- Full Page (7.5" wide x 10" high) ads for $40.00 a month.
