RateTheBusiness.com: Methodology
The purpose of these pages is to give customers a voice so that they can speak about how they are treated by the businesses that they frequent. Many times a business will not treat a customer well with the thought that it will not make any impact to their bottom line, since it is just one customer.
Here at RateTheBusiness.com we would like to change all of that, by allowing anyone to post their experiences to a world-wide audience, or more specifically to an audience that includes the businesses' current and potential customers. It is time for businesses to be more accountable for their attitudes towards their customers. Sometimes they forget who pays their bills.
At the same time we wish to create a forum to give some positive feedback on businesses that are doing a great job. We wish to encourage them to keep on doing so and wish to make these good business known to as many persons as possible.
As businesses are rated we want to know as much information as possible about the policies that the business has towards their customer's. While ratings describing an employee that was rude/nice are welcome, and may show a pattern, try to find out what happens when you report that employee to a manager. What does the mananger do?
Also we want to know how open a business is, meaning can you as the customer even get to someone else who can help you. Also if you have information as to how the business treats its employees, then share that as well. All ratings must come from customer's however, and NOT employees. We may create a different forum later for that one. If you as a customer witness a business being mean to its employees, then please report it.
Use the comments field to give the specifics of the rating, and to explain anyting that relates to it. Currently the comments field will support up to 1024 characters. If you really have a story to tell that is longer than that, please EMail is directly to Info@RateTheBusiness.com.
